Tdy, I was lucky that my supervisor requested for me to work from 10am-2pm instead of the usual shift which is until 6.30pm so that I could go for the bbq in Pasir Ris....
I reached the place at 6pm and there was no one there.... apparently, they went to giant to get the food and stuff..... it was nearly 6.40pm i think when they finally arrived at the bbq pit.... soon after, they started the fire and i was testing around with the new sony camera that I just bought in the electronic and travel etc fair in suntec just recently....
It took them quite some time to start the fire... and we went ahead eating some cooked food that the bought... the nasi berani was quite nice so to speak..... after the fire was up, the chicken wings, sotongs, satays, mushrooms were placed on the wire mesh to be bbqed.....
We chatted about the life in Birmingham.... clarifie some doubts and got to know each other.... I couldn't quite remember all the names, but well it was fun....
At 10pm, the lights went off and the bbq stopped, instead we sat around playing polar bear until we was chased by the security guard... -.-' and that was half and hour later after the lights when off.... quite early..... then some of us opt to adjourn the bbq in one of the seniors house but I did not join them as i had to work the next day..... i managed to hitch a hike from Su Chang as he was also leaving, he was so kind to drop me off at One Fullerton where I have a direct bus back...
